How and why to use a money clip?

Looks like money clips are coming back into style. I plot on getting one, and I’m sure some ancient timer can show me the best way to use one.

My husband alternates between a money clip, large paper clip, money wadded up in a zip lock bag, and a wallet. If you want to use the money clip, here’s what I’d do. Place the small bills on the outside.

Firstly, Arrange your money. Traditionally, the largest bills are on the bottom, upside-down—meaning the faces… ・ 2 Fold your money in half so that your large bills are showing. ・ 3 Slide your money into the money clip, folded end first.

Using a Smart Money Clip eliminates carrying all the extra paper and receipts you stuff into your wallet. Its compact design helps you carry enough cash and plenty of credit cards for even the huge spender. The Smart Money Clip is just a typical non-working money clip.
